Walkers Engineer Schedule – iPhone and Android App
- You must have an internet connection – no data is stored on your phone
- Login with your normal helpdesk username and password (this is the same as you use on the Android Tablets to do reports)
- A list of Jobs for the current week will be displayed – depending on your screen size, you may need to scroll to see Friday and Saturday
- You can use the << and >> buttons to move from week to week
- Tap on a job to see the details of that job.
- You may need to scroll to see full details – at the bottom of the details you can see allocated engineers if it’s a job for more than one person
- If you click on any detail, you’ll see that detail in a pop-up dialog – this also copies whatever you clicked to your clipboard, which makes using the phone numbers or email addresses for a job a simple case of click, and paste into wherever.
- Click OK to close that dialog box
- Click “<< Back to Job List” to show the list of jobs again
- Click “Logoff” to exit the App.
If you minimise the App, it will automatically log off to protect privacy after 60 seconds.
